Every kilo weighed. Every shilling explained.

Farmcore Coop is the cooperative operating system for Tanzanian agriculture: digital collections, instant mobile-money payment and IFRS-grade accounts, built offline-first for AMCOS and the farmers they serve.

A cooperative that cannot pass its audit cannot bank, borrow or negotiate. Yet across Tanzania, seasons still run on paper ledgers: farmers wait weeks for payment they cannot verify, managers spend hours a day reconciling books, and the records that should prove everything prove nothing. Farmcore was built to end exactly that.

Stacks of worn paper ledger books and bundled receipts on a cooperative office desk, a closed laptop beside them
A cooperative office Farmcore was built for. Every dispute, every audit and every loan application starts in stacks like these.

The problem

Paper is where trust goes to die.

When records live in ledger books, a farmer cannot see how their payment was calculated, a manager cannot close the books without days of reconciliation, and an auditor cannot issue the opinion the cooperative needs to borrow.

Farmcore replaces the stack with a single tamper-evident record: weighed at the scale, priced by the system, paid by mobile money, and explained to the member in their own language.

What Farmcore does

One system, from the scale to the statement.

Digitized collections

Weight capture, quality grading and automatic payment calculation at the collection point, with an SMS receipt for every delivery.

Instant payment

Mobile-money disbursement within minutes of weighing, through AzamPay with Selcom failover. Money before the walk home.

Member visibility

Every kilo, every deduction and every payment visible to the farmer who earned it, in Swahili, on the phone they already carry.

Offline-first

Full functionality for 72+ hours without connectivity, then automatic sync. Built for where cooperatives actually work.

Cooperative ERP

Member registration, share capital, loans, dividends, inputs, payroll and IFRS-grade accounts in one system of record.

Every channel

A full app for the office, USSD and WhatsApp in Swahili for members, and bulk SMS for the moments that matter.

Instant disbursement

Money before the walk home.

The moment a delivery is weighed and graded, Farmcore calculates price by weight, applies the cooperative's deduction rules, and disburses by mobile money — with an SMS receipt showing exactly how the number was reached.

Payments route through AzamPay with automatic Selcom failover, idempotent retries and next-day reconciliation, so a network problem is never a payment problem.

The phone most members actually carry. Farmcore meets it with USSD menus in Swahili, three levels deep at most.

Built for feature phones

No smartphone required.

Members check prices, deliveries and balances by USSD shortcode or WhatsApp keyword — bei, hali, salio — and every transaction lands as an SMS receipt they can keep.

For field agents, the mobile app registers members with photo and GPS, captures collections, and keeps working for 72+ hours with no signal at all.

Audit-ready by design

Accounts an auditor can sign.

IFRS-grade accounts

Full financial statements with IFRIC 2 share-capital assessment and the IFRS 18 presentation coming into effect in 2027, plus a CPA-reviewable export pack and a read-only auditor portal.

Regulator-ready records

Statutory reserve computation, budget workflows, digital weighing records in tamper-evident storage, and regulator-format exports built for Tanzania's cooperative oversight bodies.

EUDR plot traceability

Plot-level geolocation and delivery records that map every exported bag of coffee back to the parcels that grew it, ready for EU due-diligence statements.

How the compliance engine works →

Who it serves

Four ways into the same record.

AMCOS & unions

Run collections, members and money in one place, and walk into the AGM with accounts the auditor can pass.

Exporters & buyers

Plot-level origin records for the coffee you buy, ready for EU Deforestation Regulation due diligence.

Programmes & donors

Reliable aggregate data across every supported cooperative, without waiting for season-end paper returns.

Banks & lenders

The audit trail and financial statements that turn a cooperative from an unknown risk into a bankable client.
