The audit is the product's hardest test.

Most cooperative software stops at record-keeping. Farmcore was designed backwards from the moments that decide a cooperative's future: the audit opinion, the regulator's inspection, the bank's due diligence and the export buyer's traceability demand.

IFRS-grade financial statements

Tanzanian cooperatives are audited as public-interest entities, and many fail: by some estimates roughly a third of cooperative audits end in disclaimers, with the treatment of redeemable member shares a routine trigger for qualified opinions.

Farmcore's compliance engine produces a full statement set: the statement of financial position, changes in equity and cash flows. It performs the IFRIC 2 assessment on member share capital, and is already built for the IFRS 18 presentation that takes effect in 2027. A CPA-reviewable export pack and a read-only auditor portal turn audit season from a scramble into a review.

Regulator-ready by construction

Statutory reserve percentages are computed automatically under the cooperative regulations. Budget workflows follow the required path from board draft to AGM endorsement to registrar approval. Digital weighing records carry photo, GPS and scale serial into write-once storage, and exports are produced in the formats Tanzania's cooperative oversight bodies expect.

For unions, federated tenancy consolidates every member AMCOS while giving regulators a read-only view: oversight without handing anyone the keys.

EUDR traceability for coffee

From the end of 2026, coffee entering the European Union requires plot-level geolocation of origin and a due-diligence statement per shipment. A single container can hold beans from hundreds of smallholders, which is precisely the record-keeping problem spreadsheets cannot survive.

Farmcore ties every delivery to a registered member and their mapped plots, so the chain from parcel to exported bag exists as data the moment it happens, ready to support an exporter's due-diligence workflow. Farmcore provides the records; it does not provide legal compliance advice.

Data residency, taken seriously

Cooperative data belongs in the cooperative's own country. In the launch region, Farmcore runs on Tanzanian infrastructure with on-shore disaster recovery, five-minute failover targets and write-once storage for records that must never change, handled under Tanzania's Personal Data Protection Act. Every tenant's records are isolated at the database layer, wherever it runs.
