About Farmcore

Built in Dar es Salaam, for the cooperative economy.

Farmcore is a product of Handisi Digital Solutions Limited, a Tanzanian software company incorporated in 2024 and led by founder Herman Kapange. The team behind it has delivered management information systems for ministries and enterprise platforms for manufacturers. Farmcore brings that engineering discipline to agricultural cooperatives everywhere, starting with the roughly 4,000 AMCOS that anchor Tanzanian agriculture.

The product exists because the hardest problems in cooperative agriculture are not agronomic, they are administrative: payment nobody can verify, books nobody can close, and audits nobody can pass. Those are software problems, and they deserve software built for the real constraints: feature phones, patchy networks and regulators with exacting formats.
